Tooth Fillings

Tooth-coloured, biocompatible fillings completed in a single visit — no amalgam, no compromise on aesthetics.

Overview

When decay compromises a tooth, the damaged structure is removed and a filling restores it to its original shape and function. The Caddens Dental Bar uses only tooth-coloured, biocompatible materials that blend seamlessly with your natural teeth.

Preventing a tooth from further decay

The Experience

Preventing a tooth from further decay

Once decay has taken hold in a tooth, it will continue to damage more and more of the tooth structure. A filling removes the decayed material, repairs the damage and stops bacteria from entering deeper into the tooth.

Treatment Process

What to expect at your filling appointment.

01

Examination and diagnosis

Most cavities are detected at a routine check-up before they cause any pain — your dentist confirms the extent of decay and numbs the area with local anaesthetic before starting.

02

Removing decay and placing the filling

Decay is removed and replaced with a shade-matched, biocompatible tooth-coloured composite — shaped, cured with light and polished in a single appointment.

03

Eating after your filling and long-term care

You can eat straight away — the composite is light-cured on the spot. We never use amalgam, and we can safely replace any old amalgam fillings with tooth-coloured alternatives.
